GOD WILL HELP YOU THROUGH!

Matthew 7

1 Jesus said, "Judge not, that you be not judged.

2 "For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you.

3 "And why do you look at the speck in your brother's eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye?

4 "Or how can you say to your brother, 'Let me remove the speck from your eye'; and look, a plank is in your own eye?

5 "Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye.

Dear Lord, forgive for being critical of others and judging them unkindly and untimely. When I am tempted to do it, please remind me of my own faults, failures and sins which are many. I repent of them and seek Your forgiveness. Give me grace to forgive others as You forgive me. Grant me Your love, patience, and kindness so that I will be tolerant and forgiving to others, especially my own people, fellow Christians and even all others. Lord, let me not be bitter towards anyone but love all for ‘God is love!’. I ask in the name of Jesus.

1 Corinthians 13

1 If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal.

2 If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.

3 If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing.

4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.

5 It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.

6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.

7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

8 Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.

9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part,

10 but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears.

11 When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me.

12 Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.

13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

Dear God, fill my heart with Your love towards those whom I love and who love me and even to those I hate and who hate me! Grant me I pray patience and tolerance not to pass judgment on others too quickly or without knowing the truth. You alone are ourJudge and let me not judge others but rather be patient and forgiving towards all. Give me Your grace, I pray.

Romans 2

1 Therefore you are inexcusable, O man, whoever you are who judge, for in whatever you judge another you condemn yourself; for you who judge practice the same things.

2 But we know that the judgment of God is according to truth against those who practice such things.

3 And do you think this, O man, you who judge those practicing such things, and doing the same, that you will escape the judgment of God?

4 Or do you despise the riches of His goodness, forbearance, and longsuffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?

5 But in accordance with your hardness and your impenitent heart you are treasuring up for yourself wrath in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God,

6 who "will render to each one according to his deeds".

Dear God, I am sorry for judging others in haste without even knowing the truth. I am sorry for many a time I myself have been wrong in the things I condemn others. Help me to be gracious and forgiving to others their faults and failures as I forgive myself. Help me to remember always that You are the righteous judge who will judge me and all others according to our own deeds at the right time. Give me the strength to correct my self and the grace to help others mend themselves by my loving concern and constructive counsel. In Jesus’ name.
