GOD WILL HELP YOU THROUGH!

Psalm 42

1 For the director of music. A maskil of the Sons of Korah. As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, O God.

2 My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When can I go and meet with God?

3 My tears have been my food day and night, while men say to me all day long, "Where is your God?"

4 These things I remember as I pour out my soul: how I used to go with the multitude, leading the procession to the house of God, with shouts of joy and thanksgiving among the festive throng.

5 Why are you downcast, O my soul? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and

6 my God. My soul is downcast within me; therefore I will remember you from the land of the Jordan, the heights of Hermon--from Mount Mizar.

Dear God, my heart is downcast within me for I am in great distress and much anguish of soul. I have prayed and cried to You but You haven’t answered my prayers and delivered me from my troubles. Yet I keep praising You for all that You have done before. I trust in You and put my hope in You. I will keep praying and not faint for You are faithful and Your promises are ever true. O! Come soon and deliver me and make me glad in You.

7 Deep calls to deep in the roar of your waterfalls; all your waves and breakers have swept over me.

8 By day the LORD directs his love, at night his song is with me-- a prayer to the God of my life.

9 I say to God my Rock, "Why have you forgotten me? Why must I go about mourning, oppressed by the enemy?"

10 My bones suffer mortal agony as my foes taunt me, saying to me all day long, "Where is your God?"

Dear Lord, You are my Rock, "Why have you forgotten me? Why must I go about mourning”? Why should men taunt me saying “Where is your God?” Come Lord and show Yourself up on my behalf who trust in You alone.

11 Why are you downcast, O my soul? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God.

Dear Lord, let not my soul be downcast. Lift me up from the miry clay and the pit of bitterness in which I am. I will praise You always. I will keep trusting in You at all times and in all circumstances. Help me O! Lord.

Romans 8

31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?

32 He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all--how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?

33 Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies.

34 Who is he that condemns? Christ Jesus, who died--more than that, who was raised to life--is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us.

35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?

36 As it is written: "For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered."

37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.

38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers,

39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Dear Lord, grant me the sure conviction that NOTHING in all the world will ever be able to separate me from Your Love to me, though my love may fail! Father God, Your love for me was so great that You gave Your only Son Jesus for me to die for my sins. Hence, I am persuaded that You will not withhold anything that is good for me. Thank You Lord.
