GOD WILL HELP YOU THROUGH!

Psalm 41

9 Even my close friend, whom I trusted, he who shared my bread, has lifted up his heel against me.

10 But you, O LORD, have mercy on me; raise me up, that I may repay them.

11 I know that you are pleased with me, for my enemy does not triumph over me.

12 In my integrity you uphold me and set me in your presence forever.

13 Praise be to the LORD, the God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting. Amen and Amen.

Dear Lord, even my close friends and those who should be friendly with me have become unfriendly but even my enemies. But Lord I trust in You. Uphold me in my righteousness for I have not acted to offend them in any way. In Your mercy and grace deliver me from their hatred and snares.

Luke 6

27 "But I tell you who hear me: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you,

28 bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.

29 If someone strikes you on one cheek, turn to him the other also. If someone takes your cloak, do not stop him from taking your tunic.

30 Give to everyone who asks you, and if anyone takes what belongs to you, do not demand it back.

31 Do to others as you would have them do to you.

32 "If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? Even 'sinners' love those who love them.

33 And if you do good to those who are good to you, what credit is that to you? Even 'sinners' do that.

34 And if you lend to those from whom you expect repayment, what credit is that to you? Even 'sinners' lend to 'sinners,' expecting to be repaid in full.

35 But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked.

36 Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.

37 "Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.

Dear Lord, You have taught me to love my enemies and pray for them and do good to them. But I cannot do it in my own strength or by my own effort. Let Your Holy Spirit work in me and motivate me to obey You and love them that hate me and pray for my enemies..

Luke 17

3 So watch yourselves. "If your brother sins, rebuke him, and if he repents, forgive him.

4 If he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times comes back to you and says, 'I repent,' forgive him."

O! Lord, you have taught me to pray, “Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us”. You have even warned me “If you do not forgive others, your Heavenly Father will not forgive your sins”. Help me by Your Holy Spirit to forgive and begin to show love and concern to those who have failed me or are against me.

Romans 12

14 Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse.

15 Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn.

16 Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited.

17 Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everybody.

18 If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.

19 Do not take revenge, my friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written: "It is mine to avenge; I will repay," says the Lord.

20 On the contrary: "If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head."

21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

Dear Lord, I thank You for such sublime teaching in Your Word. It is ‘the’ best counsel I could get to live friendly and peaceful lives with others, especially those who may be unfriendly. It is for my correction and for putting it into practise in my everyday life. I pray Your Spirit create in me the obedience, desire and grant me the strength I need.

2 Timothy 4

16 At my first defense, no one came to my support, but everyone deserted me. May it not be held against them.

17 But the Lord stood at my side and gave me strength, so that through me the message might be fully proclaimed and all the Gentiles might hear it. And I was delivered from the lion's mouth.

18 The Lord will rescue me from every evil attack and will bring me safely to his heavenly kingdom. To him be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

O Lord, even the apostle Paul had to face such unfriendly and unsupportive friends and others. Help me to find comfort in knowing that You helped out Paul. Let me trust in Your deliverance and do not hold grudge against anyone. Amen.
