GOD WILL HELP YOU THROUGH!

John 14

1 "Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God ; trust also in me.

Lord, I trust in God and in You. Do not let my heart be troubled in any situation, however difficult or dangerous. Thank You Lord for You have gone to prepare a place for me in heaven and You will come and take me home.

11 Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the miracles themselves.

12 I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.

13 And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father.

14 You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.

18 I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.

26 But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.

27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

Thank You Lord for Your promise, “I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.” Thank You for giving Your Holy Spirit to be in me and with me always, attesting Your own presence with me. Thank You for giving me Your Peace. I thank You for the peace You give is not like what the world gives. Your peace quietens my troubled heart and takes away my fear and it is lasting.

Matthew 5

4 Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.

Dear Lord, comfort me according to Your promise, for I am sad and distressed.

2 Corinthians 1

3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort,

4 who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.

Dear God, You are the Father of all compassion and comfort. Show me Your compassion and grant me Your comfort in my trouble and sorrow. Amen.

Matthew 5

1 Now when Jesus saw the crowds, he went up on a mountainside and sat down. His disciples came to him,

2 and Jesus began to teach them, saying:

3 "Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

4 Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.

5 Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.

6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.

7 Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.

8 Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.

9 Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God.

10 Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

11 "Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me.

12 Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

O! Lord, You taught that blessed are the poor, the needy, the hungering, the thirsty, the persecuted and reviled. The outlook of Your Kingdom is so different from the world’s. Help me to understand and be happy in my state and look to You for blessings and true happiness.
